This afternoon I ran a 5k to get ready for Saturday.  I did a short run to try to focus on speed (something I don’t have) over endurance, but it was really not that quick.  I partially blame beating up my body this weekend with no sleep, too much alcohol, and heavy foods, but the rain didn’t help either.  I’m not used to being cold and wet when I run.  The goal for Saturday is 29 minutes.
